Tuning Information

I am often asked about getting more power from a Montecarlo. There are changes you can make to the air intake, exhaust and engine. Click here for the information.

Unleaded Petrol

Unleaded petrol is no longer available in Europe. The Montecarlo was designed to require both lead to lubricate the valves and a fuel with a high octane. Both these requirements can be avoided with a permanent conversion to unleaded petrol. Other people use fuel additives that apparently also avoid the problems.
